Hi everyone, I’m a BSN student and I just found out I failed Pharm/Patho by 1.6 points. My final grade is a 71.3 and the passing cutoff is 73. I honestly feel devastated and don’t really know what to do right now.
I’m a transfer student, so if I have to retake this course it will push my graduation back by a full year, which means I’d end up spending six years total in undergrad. On top of that, I’m an international student and I don’t qualify for financial aid, so paying for an extra year is something my family and I genuinely can’t afford. I’m at a point where I’m not even sure if I can continue in the program if I fail this.
English is my second language, and at the beginning I struggled a lot and thought that was the main reason for my low scores. I really tried to improve and studied much harder as the semester went on, and I actually did see progress. And I finally passed my last two exams.
Seeing the official C- posted just made everything feel very real and overwhelming.
If anyone has gone through something similar or has any advice, I would really appreciate it. I feel pretty lost right now.
