I need help!!! My bestie recently rented a house in Mecklenburg County, NC. The main issue at this point is a HUGE hole in the roof and a family of racoons living in there.

Needless to say, when it rains, water pours into the house, and the racoons are so loud, her mother can't sleep at night.

The management company has failed to return multiple calls, also refused to let a repairman come and relocate the raccoons and fix the roof. He also offered to remove the raccoona and patch the hole, they refused that as well.

My friend is to the point that she's wanting to contact Housing Authority and Code Enforcement but she's worried about them retaliating with eviction.

Can anyone please please please give me some advice on what she should do?
