I am a first time mom to a 7month old baby, i am everyday with him at home and absolutely love being his mother and being with him.
Now my issue - our families see that i am to clingy, i don’t let them feed, bath or change his diaper as i feel, me being his mom who can do it, must and want to do it myself. I absolutely love taking care of my child and making sure he is happy and sorted, and i can’t let others do it on my behalf.
We also don’t leave our child with family to go out and do stuff, as we take him with us wherever we go, they feel we need to leave him with them to go out and have alone time, instead of family time.
I can’t leave my child to go out and know that i could have taken him with me. Me and my husband haven’t had a alone date night since he is born, but we do date days with our son, family doesn’t see that it’s okay!
How do other mothers handle situations like this? How did you manage to leave your child with family to go out for dinner or something?
