For those who have had reinnervation / neurotization, what was your experience like gaining back nipple sensation post op?

I had DI with FNG and reinnervation 3.5 months ago. From early on, my chest had a lot of sensation with patchy numbness but my nipples were still fully numb. About a month ago some sensation is starting to come back in one but it’s sore/a little painful. My right one is still numb.

Does this seem normal? I haven’t been super worried yet or anything / trying to give myself the grace of waiting to see what happens (especially because I’m used to the unpredictable nature of nerves as someone with chronic pain) but I’m curious to hear more about others’ sensation timelines.
