Ying to my Yang

Do developers actually look for non-technical co-founders? Or if you can build something, why partner with someone who “just” has ideas?

Here’s my situation: I have a background that’s adjacent to tech…I understood enough to hang with engineers, but I was always the one presenting, networking, and driving the business side. Some of my best college memories were exactly that dynamic: my classmates wanted to build, I wanted to sell. It worked.

I’ve got solid ideas for apps/services, strong instincts for marketing and growth, and I like talking to people...but I suck ass at building. I’ve tried with Vibecode apps, but just looks like shit. As much as I wish it was, it’s not my thing developing software.

Is there a community or platform where builders actively look for that kind of partner? Not someone hiring a freelance dev but genuinely looking for a co-founder relationship where one person brings the idea and GTM, the other builds it. The yin and yang thing.

Maybe on here? This might be wrong Reddit page, so if there are any others people recommend let me know.
