Need advice

Hello everyone- I am 28F and about to be diagnosed with Sjogrens or possibly another autoimmune disorder. I have had symptoms for about 10 years and every doctor has told me I have anxiety lol and I just got my SSB and ANA back which both are elevated. However my SSA is normal. For reference, I am an inpatient acute care nurse so I’m very well versed in medicine and I have had textbook Sjogrens symptoms and now it is all clicking together with these positive labs- watering eyes, runny nose, dry mouth, enamel decay, chest tightness/rib pain, severe fatigue, frequent oral thrush, delayed gastric emptying, urinary incontinence during flares, eczema, joint pain, headaches, etc. Recently, I have also have been having asthma exacerbations requiring a rescue inhaler too.

I also recently got diagnosed with HSV-2 and the autoimmune symptoms became more exacerbated after contracting it along with new menstrual cramps during flares when I am not on my period. Does anybody else have experience with HSV-2 and Sjogrens? My autoimmune symptoms are now debilitating my life so I absolutely need to go on some form of medication but I am worried that suppressing my immune system will trigger constant HSV outbreaks.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Also, props to everyone going through this bc it is for sure not easy- I have never felt so terribly in my life and I’m worried I may need to change my career bc of it. During flares, even my adderall prescription and coffee aren’t keeping me awake. Giving a virtual hug to you all❤️
