I obtained second hand Umarex 586, since it is so praised for accuracy in replica territory. It is rarely available, so I purchased one once someone listed one.

It came with a snapped rear sight, so I asked someone to 3d print one for me, however, the problem remaining is that the barrel seems to be bust - barely any sign of rifling left, it looks mirror smooth. Serial number ends with GL, which is an indicator for a rifled version.

Barrel spare part is not available anywhere.

What are the options? Redo the rifling? Fabricate barrel on a lathe using some donor barrel?
