So I've applied to the YRI Fellowship, and they emailed me that they'd like me to attend but without the amount of aid I was hoping for (full aid).
I'm in a third world country and can't afford any expenses, what can i do?
International Egyptian junior in STEM school, a limited spot schools for brightest preparatory students, accepts approximately 3000 students out of 40-50k applicants. Students conduct a capstone project each semester which represents 60% of their total semester grade.
SAT: 1550
IELTS: 8.5
GPA: cummulative 3.87/4.0
Intended major: computer science

300+h volunteering at the Egyptian Red Crescent, where I provided technical support to the elderly (mostly setting health assurance appointments), helped in the humanitarian aid tent where we provide food supply to Gaza and Sudan, and carried out weekly sessions with elementary school students where I introduced them to computer science, breaking everything from English to Arabic as it is hard to learn English at a young age here.
Clubs: Mentor and organizer in the school capstone club, where we helped over 120 students on how to write capstone journals, portfolios, and posters according to the school rubric, conducting expermintal exhibitions for school freshmen to exhibit their projects and presentation skills prior to the actual exhibition. Organized sessions on mental wellness and trust circles where students open up about their distress through the school psychology club.
Any tips on how to enhance my application from your pov?
