Political Retardmaxxing

Been struggling with a new work environment that’s very political. Series A startup with lots of nepotism.

I’m very blunt and have gotten in trouble with saying the wrong thing before so I started to act as retarded I can internally.

I pretend I don’t understand that internal conflicts exist. When asked opinion about other people always say “they’re nice!”

Any new CRM initiative? Just write simple one word answer “bad” “don’t like” “mean”.

Like every single announcement on Slack and comment “great!” And “the best!” Try to be first.

When manager asks for how they can help? Just pull up Gong recording and drop at any random question you asked, pretend to take notes and scroll reels. Last week he spoke for 23 mins straight, smile at the end and say “thanks for help!”

Enterprise AE, $200k Base / $400k OTE. Realistically will make $320k as #1 AE on team of 5, complete shit show but fully remote and easy. Going to ride out while I can.
