Hi everyone,
I am wondering what the courses in the MS HRM degree program are like? How many assignments and tests are there in each class and what is the workload like?
Currently, my undergrad classes through my local college are 7-week courses with the same assignment/syllabus structure every time: 7 multiple choice tests, 4 essays, and 3 discussions posts. I am a strong writer, so I find it manageable to only complete a 50 question test and a 4-page paper/discussion post each week for each class. Nothing is proctored or in person so I can work on it in the evening or weekend when I’m free.
For some additional background, I’ve worked in HR for about 8 years and am someone who finds a lot of purpose in my professional career and am a “ladder climber”. The only reason I am working on a bachelor’s degree is because I’ve come to point where I can no longer advance further with just my associate’s degree. I am interested in potentially getting a master’s degree when I finish my bachelor’s to help my career potential even further. I’ve been able to speed run my bachelor’s degree with this predictable assignment structure and I’m nervous about having to do anything different.
Thanks so much!
