I don't care what the system incentivizes or how stupid it is - the blms for what happened yesterday lies on CR. A competitive tournament only works if everyone follows the rules and plays by them the same. It is a rule that you can't throw/intentionally play bad in a map and CR broke it.

  1. To everyone saying it's uncertain if they threw - you are delusional. Even if the Soldier-Sym decision was real they had endless opportunities to swap after never winning a single fight playing and actively chose not to. Stalker had an opportunity to swap right after using visor and chose not to. Heesang is someone who in the past very often chose to lose kicking and screaming rather than play sym and now, on a decider map he needs to, for what I think is the first time in a official this year? They shat on Varrel for 10 minutes straight playing castion and now they need to counter it? If you think they weren't throwing, especially after seeing Chorong's discord post, grow up.

  2. More pressingly to everyone justifying their throw by saying its understandable/its the systems fault/its the setup of the tournament's fault - y'all don't get it. Cheating is always incentivized in a competitive sport. That doesn't justify it. In any physical sport, the use of PEDs is highly incentivized. But players CHOOSE to agree not to do it and (at least most of the time) they stick to that because of their integrity and they have a love for the game. CR chose to make a commitment to follow the rules, and they chose to break it. It doesn't matter how stupid the system is, it's the teams fault for cheating. If you think what they did is okay because the system called for it, then fuck it lets startbeing okay with wintraders and mixmaxers and boosters in ranked. Yknow what the system incentivizes hacking, why aren't we okay with that? The spirit of the game matters and they pissed all over it.

Integrity matters and CR showed that they have none. They should truly be ashamed of themselves, especially as a team that hopes to win big internationally.

Sincerely,

Someone who's not even a Falcons fan.

Tried twice to get in, it's the only one I want at all but the stupid campus groups website screwed me both times. DM me if you are willing to sell yours.
