So a little while ago, i started a build that I was happy with. I recently moved into a hyte y70 touch case and thats when trouble started. I bought 3 Lian li fans for the front until I got enough to swap the rest of the fans into my case to Lian Li sl inf fans.
After buying an sl inf hub from overclockers UK, it came and after installation, the fans lit up once. I restarted my pc without even having Lian Li L connect installed yet and from then onwards, they wont light up or have the rgb controlled by Lian Li.
The fans work through my MOBO Headers but not through the Hub. What is even weirder is that they are recognised through the L connect software and can control the fan speed but the rgb still wont turn on.
Ive tried all manor of things to resolve the issue like updating the firmware, re installing L connect, making sure they are all on the latest versions. Both of the connection ways to the controller (USB header and the rgb and pwm cables) swapping to a seperate sata cable but ive gotten no where. I always end up with the same result.
Has anyone else experienced this or know a fix? I am desperate as I really want to use a Lian Li ecosystem in my pc.
Again, they work through the mobo headers but I cant do thag for all of my fans when I get them all.
