I live in California and the law here is that you must be a licensed medical professional (RN, NP, PA, MD) to perform laser hair removal….
I hope and expect that the techs are getting paid medical professional wages, so why are we expected to tip? I spend $300 at every visit so tipping 20% really adds up every time.. of course I appreciate their service but I feel like the tipping culture is a bit out of hand here.
Edit for clarification-the salon I go to uses those tablets up front to pay where at the end it gives you tip options and the techs have their Venmo QR codes up
