Howdy all, I am a college student in the southeastern United States, so 100% big mold territory. This patch has been growing on the ceiling of our bathrooms in the basement of my dorm for a while now and it looks pretty rough… but I just want to make sure that I’m not overreacting?
This dorm was built in the 40s and my college has never been super well-funded lmao… I got pretty sick a few weeks back and thought it might have been from mold exposure despite living two floors above this. I’m sure it’s everywhere here anyways.
Is this as bad as it looks to me? What should the next steps be? We’ve told housing multiple times now but the response time is nonexistent, so we’re trying to get to the admin next.
