Heya, I recently became interested in the world of displays and this sub has taught me a lot so I'm hoping to get some specific advice, coming with a budget of give or take €200.

I want to prioritize motion clarity as I think this is something my eyes would really appreciate, without sacrificing too much in the input lag department as I value competitive gaming over more casual gaming. From what I can tell the best options for this is stuff like

  • ViewSonic XG2431
  • BenQ XL2546K
  • G-Sync Pulsar Displays

The issue for me is that these displays are sadly out of my price range. The ViewSonic seems to always be out of stock, meanwhile I could save a bit extra for the BenQ but I'm worred it being 6 years old I might be missing something newer (turns out its around €600). I was wondering if "the next best thing" exists around the €200 euro price range or if I'm chasing dragons here. OLED's which reportedly have improved motion clarity as well are obviously out of my budget too.

Should I simply settle for a regular 180-240hz g-sync monitor and call it a day? Or aim for that €300 price point where this technology seems to rest at?

Thanks!
