Did your symptoms progress over time and did it ever stop?
By "progress" I don't necessarily mean get more frequent (although, that's definitely been happening in my case, as well) but did other things trigger tremors or seizures, over time? For example, I only ever got them initially through severe back/neck pain (it would have to shoot all the way up to my neck, and when these symptoms started, I had an injury at work and my back was in agony for months).
For the last 6 months, extreme, abrupt noises would set them off. Child screeching, a fire alarm, ambulance.. it can just shock me for a few seconds where my arms flail about, or I fall down completely and lose control of my limbs. I have no warning and no amount of breathing exercises can make it any better. I've had a few times where I was able to just reset but it just doesn't work anymore.
I've also had heart palpitations, which got so bad last week, I almost lost consciousness. The nausea and fatigue following them is unbearable. I couldn't even walk 5 minutes down the road on Friday without having to sit down and get my bearings! I managed to do do a full shift at work today, at last, but I don't know how much longer I can keep this up. I seem to be a ticking time bomb at the moment!
Has anyone else been through anything like this at all? I do have an upcoming appointment at the end of the week but every time I attend these, it just feels like a bit of a waste of time, really. Last time, I asked what do I do when these exercises don't work and she looked over at me like a complete moron... this may work on a lot people but I'm sorry to say that I can't simply will myself out of an attack. *It's not like I'm fucking doing it on purpose!*
