dx270 owners, how warm is the dap actually?
To sumarize I was considering picking up a dx270 to replace my favorite dongle the onix xl1, but my main issue is that r2r or at least the implementations that I've tested out are warm, but kill off the highs in the sense that they're veiled or not shimmery enough for my taste. So how does the treble performance compare to that of more neutral leaning sources?
Just as an fyi i can hear up to around 17.5k hz due to younger ears so we may not hear the same but a rough comparison would be more than aprecieated.
edit: in short does the treble still come through or is it veiled or laid back like some r2r implementations
