I am not the original artist, these sculptures were donated. I've just been asked by the place I volunteer at to see if I can strengthen the legs. As far as I can tell, there is some sort of rigid frame inside, a foam material, then some plaster of paris wrap and layered with newspaper.

My current best guess is to apply some more plaster wrap to the outside to give it rigidity, then paste on more newspaper and add a top coat.

I'd really appreciate better suggestions! These are not materials I've really worked with before. Thanks in advance!
