Hellooooo lovely beings of r/otherkin!! This is my first time posting here as I haven't really ever thought about possibly being otherkin before. I've identified as a therian and a fictionkin for around over a year now but this is the first time I've felt this way.

So, I was scrolling on tiktok (as one does) and decided to just look at stuff about mythical creatures bc they're cool and stuff. And that's when I discovered Perytons! I'd never felt such an immediate connection to a species, mythical or not. It was like the second I saw it something in my brain just clicked (it's a very difficult feeling to describe, so sorry if I'm being vague 🥲). And that's when I started questioning being otherkin.

I'm not really sure where to go from here though. Like I know that I should probably do research and stuff but I'm not sure whete to look for information as it's very hard to find credible sources these days.

I think i just got a memory in like the weirdest way. So, I'm Himiko Toga, and i just so happen to lowkey like the taste of blood (ik it's weird, just go with it, ok?). And i relapsed last night and I was like using my saliva to help seal the cut (😭😭) and a little bit of blood got in my mouth and suddenly I remembered drinking my first crush Saito's blood. Not exactly a pleasant thing to remember, but hey, at least I don't feel dysphoric about not having any memories anymore 🥹✌️
