My main question is do most of your subscribers come from long form videos or shorts?

One thing I see a lot on this page is people talking about why does it take so long to grow and getting mad about getting no views. The way I see it there are only a few categories of creators: those who make videos they enjoy making, those who want to get famous and get millions of views, and those who enjoy making videos and would love to get more views but they don’t REALLY want to put in the work.

If your only concern is having a huge audience, you have to cater to the audience, hour long videos of you talking about anything are not going to work. You have to make videos that people can search and find.

If you just want to make videos you enjoy, then you have to be okay with slow growth.

I have recently started making long form YouTube videos on Minecraft Survival Series. I have only made 3 videos so far but my channel is SLOWLY growing in subscribers, most of which come from remixing shorts of my episodes.

I’m happy with my slow progress but I enjoy learning and making my videos better. Should I focus on making my long form videos better or getting shorts from my long form?
