Not giving too much info for privacy coz my dads a redditor but I'm 18, she's a bit older, and we live in the US if that helps add cultural context
My family always joke like "Oh, you're always mean to her, don't act like you don't love her" but I genuinely do not like her. She's entitled but thats not even necessarily the problem, we're just such different people in such an incompatible way that I truly do not enjoy time with her.
I feel like maybe a lot of the time people dont get on with family but theres still that familial love and connection that keeps them together, and I feel that towards my parents, but with my sister it almost feels like I'm just being forced to live with some random woman that annoys me and I don't care for. Is this normal? I see so much on social media about the special bond between sisters and I wish more than anything that I felt that way but I just don't like or care about her.
