We are deciding on excursions for our upcoming trip. Our travel agent provided several options, but the pricing feels very aggressive. When I mentioned this, the agent explained that they only work with "trusted partners" to guarantee the level of service.

We want a high-quality, private experience, but we’re debating if we should just book our own activities. Has anyone had a "trusted partner" experience that was so exceptional it justified a much higher price tag? Or are we better off finding our own local experts? If we do decide to book on our own can anyone make a recommendation?

I have switchgear that has tape and labels on it for a couple of years and after sitting in the sun we are scraping the paint trying to get them off.

Can anyone suggest some tips to remove residue?
