following up on my previous post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/LenovoLegion/comments/1sivs2r/battery_dead_after_a_year/

I’m dealing with a frustrating service issue with Lenovo and need advice.

I reported a charging led blinking issue on my Lenovo Legion 5i Pro (2024) to Lenovo support. After their diagnosis, they told me the issue was the battery and sent me a quote of ₹11,000 for battery replacement.

The battery was out of warranty, so I was required to pay in advance before the repair could be carried out.

Since i need this laptop for work and the issue was urgent, I went ahead with it.

Today, the engineer came and replaced the battery.

The exact same issue appeared again immediately, in front of the engineer.

So the replacement part did not fix the problem.

Now Lenovo is not clearly acknowledging that the diagnosis was wrong, and they are saying they will “follow up.”

My problem is this:

They diagnosed the issue, asked for advance payment for the replacement part, replaced it, and the issue still exists — but I’m the one who has already paid for a part that did not solve the problem.

Would appreciate any advice, especially from people who have dealt with Lenovo support/service before.
