So I’ve been thinking a lot recently and just wanted to get some more professional opinions. And vent.
I just graduated college with two degrees in finance and accounting. More on the west coast so not too much RMI majors, and I am staying in my college town which is a lot smaller. I landed a position as a wholesale broker assistant working fully remote for 45k a year.
I’m not really satisfied with how much it is but I am learning quite a lot, and really got thrown into the fire with my responsibilities but I do enjoy learning in this environment. I do look at the grass on the other side though and I’m not feeling content because I see other similar positions being paid more and are in person.
This is just to vent as well because I don’t plan on leaving because of the flexibility really helps as a big medical family situation has come up and being able to travel to my hometown frequently is a huge plus.
I plan on sticking it out for a year and seeing where I’m at then.
