After failing Entyvio and Skyrizi, the GI doc put me on an Infliximab biosimilar (infusions every 8 weeks) + daily 50mg Azathioprine. All went very well for a few months, and now things have gone downhill. This is the second time treatment for my UC has interrupted the progress I'm making with Zepbound. Last year, doc told me to go off the GLP-1 and put me on steroids, and I regained most of the 20 lbs I lost. After losing it again, plus a bit more, I'm determined not to go back on steroids. Anyone out there in a similar situation with a better treatment plan? The current flare isn't horrible but the colonoscopy shows moderate disease in the transverse colon (fortunately no dysplasia or polyps). I'm so frustrated.
