I’m traveling to Seattle in July to attend my college graduation ceremony which also happens to take place on my birthday so I want to have a bangin night afterwards to celebrate.
I’ve only been to Seattle a few times so looking to try new spots. The only memorable place from last time was no name bar (which I liked).
For Dinner: I like swanky places with fun vibes that feel cosy and have fantastic cocktails. Not super picky on food type. Some family is traveling with me that aren’t sushi fans (lame) but they do like seafood and about the only thing I don’t like are dumplings. Preferably looking for places downtown since we are ubering but open to suggestions. I would say budget is around $50 entrees & $20-$23 cocktail range. My husband and I are foodies and aren’t bothered by pricey meals (I’d honestly do Altura if it wasn’t for other people) but the rest of my group is the concern with the budget. Also 3 kids in tow, they are mine and we take them out to all sorts of different food so it doesn’t need to be a “kid spot” just one where they are allowed.
Bars/lounges: After dinner I want to go bar hopping with the husband only. Send me the best bar recs! Mostly looking for good vibes. We usually start classy and then end up jumping 3-4 bars and end up at dives by the end of the right. A lot of the times we ask our first bar tender their favorite local spot and go there after and so on for the night. It’s ended us up in some cool spots before but I want to hear input here as well.
Clubs/shows: We love EDM/Raves/Music Festivals, etc. Not opposed to normal clubs either that are more EDM geared. Does Seattle have anything like this? We live in Salt Lake so we know all the after hours underground edm events to go to but I have no clue where to find them in other cities.
Drop your recommendations cause I’d love to check them out. Also if you’ve got a killer brunch spot to cure my hangover the next morning send it my way (bonus points for unlimited mimosas or amazing bloody Mary’s)
