Feeling stuck in Life Insurance sales — looking to switch into Consulting, Marketing, or Product Management | Need guidance & referrals
Hey everyone, I'm a 25M currently working as a Management Trainee in Life Insurance sales, and many of you probably know how toxic this industry can be.
My manager has made things especially difficult — gave me a poor rating and has openly said he will not let me continue at this company by any means. At this point, I've decided it's time to move on and build something better.
My background:
- MBA from a Tier 2 college with dual specialization in Marketing & Finance
- Experience in insurance sales, underwriting support, and cross-functional coordination
- Looking to transition into Management Consulting, Marketing roles, or Product Management
I know the switch won't be easy, but I'm committed to putting in the work. I'm actively upskilling, refining my resume, and preparing for interviews.
