hey guys i was offered ntu cs and smu cs (nus offered second choice 😞) i was leaning towards picking ntu over smu but then i read posts on here talking about how ‘bad/outdated’ the curriculum is and asking everyone to run the opposite direction 😭😭 i heard there are some compulsory mods that are a waste of time (?) i thought ill be fine going to ntu considering its a well-recognized uni but now im rethinking if i should go smu instead..pls take everything ive said with a grain of salt im only basing this off of what ive heard 😬 is ntu cs really that bad? how come every post ive seen is saying the exact same thing 🥲 for the record ntu is like 10 mins from where i stay while smu is 1h+ away (i know distance isn’t a good indicator of which uni to pick but im saying this is just one of the reasons i was leaning towards ntu)
