For context: We rescued him from a shelter only a couple months ago, and he is no older than 2.

When my (orange) cat gets the zoomies he likes to lunge at us and bite. For example, he ended up jumping on my foot last night and drew a little blood. He also has lunged at my boyfriend and bit his arm. I like to think that he isn’t purposely being aggressive and that it’s just him being high energy but I don’t know. He does have many toys, a tunnel, a cat tree, and I play with him using a “fishing pole” type toy.

My question is, what can I do to teach him that it’s okay to be hyper, but not to hurt us???? What are some specific interactive toys that you recommend? He is a super sweet boy 80% of the time but he’s honestly starting to scare us a little.

TIA! <3
