How can we call an absolutely defeated, broken and depressed character?
Here's the general idea:
The character was defeated, lost everything they loved, and was put in a "pretty cage". After some futile attempts to escape, they became absolutely lifeless and would probably just kill themselves if given the possibility. They've given up all hope.

Is there any archetype that might fit the character? I'm thinking of the lost soul or tragic or fallen hero, tho I'm not sure if they really fit and if there is a better option out there.

P.s. I know my writing is really bad, English isn't my first language
