I just wanted to take a quick victory lap. Remember a few months ago when I said this project was literally just us paying our ISP bills so a third party could harvest our data and sell it to the highest bidder while we got left with nothing but digital air? Remember when some of you geniuses laughed and told me I was being a "little sissy" for not having "diamond hands" for a browser extension?

Who’s laughing now?

I stopped at Epoch 6 because I realized I wasn’t a "pioneer"—I was the product. It’s a visionary business model, really:

Step 1: Convince thousands of people to hand over their bandwidth and hardware.

Step 2: Let those people pay the electricity and internet bills.

Step 3: Sell that sweet, sweet training data to AI labs for actual, liquid capital.

Step 4: Pay the users in "Points" and "Epoch badges."

I’m paying the same internet bill you guys are, but the only difference is I’m not letting a corporation turn my router into a high-speed proxy for their own profit margin while I wait for a "listing" that’s always just around the corner.

It’s funny how "being a sissy" looks a lot like "having basic financial literacy" in hindsight. While you guys are busy refreshing a dashboard to see your points tick up, I’ve moved on to things that actually provide a return on investment that isn't measured in "hopium."

Enjoy your badges. I’ll enjoy my privacy and the bandwidth I actually paid for.

TL;DR: I called the grift months ago. You provided the infrastructure, they kept the cash, and I got out before I spent another minute being a volunteer for a multi-million dollar data broker.

Stay thirsty, "pioneers." ✌️
