Im having an issue where new cachers dont close my caches after opening, or dont close them all the way, and the logs get wet/lost.
As a cache owner, what do you do about ruined logs when replacing them? Do i just put a brand new log in there? Do i copy over the ftf info onto the new log? What happens to the names of people who signed the old log?
I started this project about a year ago and worked off and on with it until I finally reached a point where I'm satisfied enough to show it off.
I had the caps professionally printed. I just put chlorinated water inside the bottle and capped it since it is a prop and i dont intend to drink it. That way it stays sterile and has the weight of a full bottle. For the label designs, I used a handful of free assets I found online and an unhealthy amount of photoshop to get the label pretty close to looking like the in-game model. The labels are made of a thick copy paper and glued on. I thought about doing a vinyl or plastic type of label, but i think the paper labels are more lore-correct and feel good in the hand.
Went prospectin' today and found 57 caps. Next round at the Vikki and Vance is on me!
