We all see posts with issues from bad managers and the great advice that this community provides in those situations. It got me thinking of what advice this community would have — either from the perspective of a staff or as management — to course correct a truly bad staff. For example, someone who is consistently missing deadlines, work that comes is unusable and you have to do it yourself (now with timing urgency), inactive during the day, unengaged during meetings, etc.
