I've been pretty hyped to try jiujitsu, went to a class recently and I liked it, but didn't love it. It was very enjoyable and informative, I have no complaints whatsoever and they worked me hard which is appreciated. But I couldn't shake the feeling that I would have preferred to just be in the gym instead. I train 5x/week consistently and have been doing so for quite some time with very good progress, and my motivation to lift regularly is still very high. I had to skip my push day today because my elbows are so worn out from jiujitsu yesterday.

My original plan was to transition to a 3 day lifting schedule and 2 days jiujitsu, but after having tried it I can't say that I love it, while I absolutely do love to lift. I guess I already have the answer in my head at this point (return to 5x weekly gym routine) but I just feel bad giving up on something new so quickly.

Anyone else have experience like this, and how did you get over it? It really feels like I'm just kinda taking the easy way out.
