Auto Immune

Seeing 2 new doctors next month as I am having severe head pressure, dizziness, and nausea 8 months after stent placed. No doctors have ordered scans or blood work since over a year ago. A year ago I was not this bad. One doctor does believe that something is wrong that we aren't catching. (Love that)

Shot in the way dark...has anyone been diagnosed with auto immune disease after being stent or maybe even after IIH diagnosis?

I've also never had eye or hearing issues too

Weaning off Diamox

2nd time trying to wean off this drug after a stent place last year. I am having the worst time and stuck around 625. Surgeon dismisses me and won't do scans and refers me to headache management. I have SEVERE pain, dizziness, and nausea, like ER level and no pain relief with anything. It's like worse than before my stent.

Anyone else try to wean off and have to go back up? I also just wish my doctor would listen when I say something isn't right. But then they ask if I want a pysch referral.

Post stent and having terrible and unbearable pain. Doctors won't do anything because the scans I had LAST YEAR look good. But that's besides the point.

One of my main symptoms is dizziness, like I am super unsteady and can't drive / walk.

The room is not spinning and im not spinning.

does this make sense to anyone? Feel this way too?

Really struggling. 2 brain surgeries and stent placed on side with 20 measurement from angiogram. Doctor said he only stents one side and very rare have to go back for other side. Other side measured at 14. I was told you stent over 8.

Been struggling so bad with pain and keep getting dismissed and just say it's anxiety because "everything looks great" and push through the pain. I've lost my job bc of the painand dizziness. They suggested botox and PT. my last scans were done pre stent....

They are all avoiding scans bc of exposure to radiation. I feel like something is not right.

Anyone been here before or have advice? I'm really hopeless. 😭
