From desk work to trades

Hi ladies! Just joined this group and looking for some opinions and suggestions. I currently atm work a science/desk job. 26 years old and I’ve incredibly been bored with my career and just sitting around most of the day. I’ve always loved hard work, growing up and my first jobs were fast moving and creating something. I never graduated college and to be honest got lucky with the job I have now. Having some family that are electricians, it’s always drawn me and interested me. Doubted I could do it but honestly just at the point in my life that I just want to do what I actually want to do for once in my life. No fear and just doing it. A complete flip of trades but I’m so ready for it…. Saying that not really sure where to start at this point in my life, should I join a pre-apprenticeship program, take some community college or try joining union? I have no experience in the trade besides the real little stuff. I live in the west Michigan area for reference, any suggestions or advice would be so appreciated 🙏🏽!
