Hi everyone, this friendly girl just showed up on our property. Before my husband left for work, he opened the garage and she ran right in. A little later I went back outside and she ran right up to me. Very friendly, talkative. No collar, didn’t mind being touched. She looked thin, so I couldn’t help but leave her a little tuna (in water, drained) as well as some water to drink. Almost certain she’s feral, but she’s so friendly that she must have had human contact or care elsewhere.

Did she just choose us?!

USA, Midwest region. I know a vet nearby. We’re keeping our belt tight right now, but we’d be happy to get her checked out.

My one concern is we feed a lot of wild birds, and I’m betting she’s got her eye on more than one. That and the strong likelihood that she’s feral. We’ve lived here five years, never seen her at the house or around the neighborhood.

Update: I have to work, but will see if she has eaten more food before I log on. I put out an old towel for her on my porch. I’ll check for her again later today.

Night Update: I haven’t seen her since I logged on for work this morning. There’s still tuna and water out for her, and I put an old towel in an Amazon box in case she wants to come back. I’ll check for her again in the morning.

I absolutely love that The Masters has uploaded many of the final round broadcasts to YouTube. They are so calming watch on a slow Sunday afternoon.

Today I’m watching the 1997 final round. I remember Tiger Woods taking the world by storm when he won, but I wasn’t interested in golf when I was 9 years old.

We’ve also watched the 2019 final round, which is what finally convinced me today start watching the sport consistently.
