[Advice Needed] Grandfather with dementia waking up wet every morning despite using adult diapers. Any product "stacks" or tips for heavy overnight leaks?
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice on managing overnight incontinence for my grandfather, who is living with dementia.
The main issue is that every morning he wakes up wet, along with his sheets, even though he wears adult diapers to bed. It seems like the diapers we are using just can't handle the volume over 8–10 hours, and they are likely shifting or leaking from the legs/waist.
Because of his dementia, he isn't able to tell us if he’s uncomfortable or if the diaper feels full, and he can’t really adjust himself in the night.
I want to make sure he stays dry to prevent skin breakdown or rashes, but I’m struggling to find a setup that lasts until the morning. Any specific brands or "product stacks" you’ve had success with would be greatly appreciated!
