I’ve had 3 different consults, and all of recommended something different. I’m in my mid 30s. Goals are to have more symmetric eyes, create permanent fold in both eyes, more natural looking, and hopefully brighten up my face too. I’ve had bilateral ptosis correction before which helped with my ptosis a lot.

3 different recommendations:

  1. Partial incisional double eyelid surgery - Kplus
  2. Incisional double eyelid surgery with ptosis correction - Wink
  3. Forehead lift with double eyelid surgery (could be non incisional or incisional) - ROI

I went in thinking that I’d be going with an incisional double eyelid surgery. Now I’m more confused. ROI recommended forehead lift because he said that by just doing the incisional method and removing some skin that it may cause a decrease in the lid space causing a more angry look.

I’d done several online consults and no one mentioned the forehead lift. But it made sense what he was saying.

Has anyone had incisional eyelid surgery and unhappy feel like their lid space decreased too much? Also Wink was the only one to recommend ptosis correction during the in person consults.

I wouldn’t have time to do the forehead lift during this stay. Prior to flying here, I’d already placed a deposit for Wink to secure a date/time which is where I’d been most confident about prior to my consults.
