What recommendations would you guys have for those entering the MD program soon?

For semesters 1 and 2, if you were to do it over again how would you do it? (Resources, routine, etc.) - I am thinking to not attend many classes, self study, and use a few resources like ANKI, BB/First Aid/Pathoma/USMLERX/Bootcamp/YouTube

I know things have changed it appears between the curriculum, threads/grading etc. can anyone explain all, or some of this from a students perspective?

I appreciate any guidance - the schools responses are already like pulling teeth -_-
