Low FODMAP taco salad that slaps!

Feeling festive on Cinco de Mayo and made this taco salad. You wont even miss the garlic and onion!

  • 1 lb ground beef (or whatever ground meat you've got)
  • 1.5 tsp pure chili powder (not a blend, those have garlic/onion)
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 to 2 tsp Viva La Gut Sensitive Sriracha
  • Bag of green salad
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Grated cheddar
  • Tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef.
  2. While that's going, dump the chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper into a little bowl.
  3. Stir the spices and the sriracha into the cooked beef. If you want it a little saucier, splash in 1/4 cup water and let it simmer down.
  4. Plate it up: salad, cheese, tomatoes, a quarter of the beef on top, then crush some tortilla chips over the whole thing.

PSA: I am the founder of Viva La Gut. I have chronic IBS, and onion and garlic are extreme triggers for me. So I made Viva La Gut because I missed condiments that didn't taste like diet food.

It's Monash Certified Low Fodmap and doesn't have garlic bulb or onion.

PSA: I am the founder of Viva La Gut Sensitive Sriracha It's super versatile, not too spicy, and blended with both guajillos which makes it super versatile and adds flavor depth without being too spicy. Made it because after my own gut stuff I was tired of eating sad food. It's Monash certified low FODMAP
