Hi fellow gardeners!🌱👋🏼

I’m new to gardening and have had this bed going for about a month now. I’ve lost a basil and cucumber plant already. I believe it was due to over watering and planting them too close to other veg.

Now I’m realizing that my yellow bell pepper plant has some mushrooms growing behind it, a couple leafs look a bit chewed, and has some black coloring on the stem and branches.

Please please help me figure out what’s wrong!! and what next steps I should take? Also, what kind of mushrooms r those and can i touch them?

For reference i also have: cilantro, a lil marigold annual, roma tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, spicy jane pepper and green pepper all growing in this bed. And im in zone 10b.
