Hey all—wanted to see if anyone else has run into this.

I logged into StudentAid.gov today and saw a big warning saying I’m “currently in default,” which freaked me out. But:

My servicer (MOHELA) says my account is in good standing
I called the Default Resolution Group and they said my records may not be updated
I even chatted with a StudentAid.gov rep who said they don’t actually see a default on my account on their end

So now I’m stuck with a dashboard showing I’m in default… but no one can confirm that I actually am.

There was also a notice about system updates / court-related changes to IDR counts, so I’m wondering if this is some kind of glitch?

Has anyone else seen this happen recently?
Did it resolve on its own or did you have to push for a fix?

Just a little concerned about credit reporting / any downstream issues.
