It was about 10 months I had to have a hernia surgery, and I laid around for about a month to recover, and my usual huge quads are now like a toothpick. prior to that procedure I’d always been fit and slender, I used to be a long-distance runner and a dancer, now I’m a cyclist, an open water swimmer and a sedentary student. Oh, I can mention my age, I’m 50, and a female. I am vegetarian. Should I try HITT, or boxing, or doing planks every day or where can I start? I’m thinking of hiring a trainer but I’m surprised at prices doubling in SF after COVID! I used to be able to lose weight quickly at will after only 2-3 weeks of intense working out.
