Swapping out +2 baseplate on OEM Glock 26 magazine with a +3 Pearce grip extension?
Freedom week mag question
Is swapping the factory +2 baseplate on my Glock 26 12rd mag for a Pearce +3 illegal in CA?
I legally own a Glock 26 factory 12rd mag (10rd tube with OEM +2 baseplate). I also legally own a Pearce +3 extension. If I swap the factory +2 baseplate for the Pearce +3, that would bring it to 13 rounds.
I know adding an extension to a 10rd mag to push it past 10 is considered manufacturing a large cap mag in CA. But does the same apply here since the tube is already a legally owned 12rd mag? Has anyone run into this or know where the line is?
