Conscious entities entering lucid dreams? Is it possible and what do they want?

I have recently begun having lucid dreams.
This is not a deliberate thing on my part - but a development after having suffered a bereavement last year.
My question is what type of entities do we meet in dreams?
Sometimes there are people around in my dreams, but the interaction is basically mundane.
But last night I had a dream in which I was exiting a store onto a street and came face to face with an elderly man (who was a complete stranger to me).
I didn't get a bad feeling, just a general sense that there seemed to be something more to him consciousness-wise.
We locked eyes and I had an understanding that he was indicating for me to go ahead of him in walking down the street.
Then as I was walking in front of him he touched the back of my head with his fingertip, in what felt like some sort of deliberate motion or a pattern.
I was not unsettled or alarmed by it at all and just thought 'oh he's touching my head - I wonder why?'.
I didn't think about wanting him to touch my head, so I assume he did this on his own volition.
Has anyone experienced anything like this? Or can offer any type of info about who or what he might have been?
