Hi everybody,

I'm not really into home theater, but I am into immersive listening experiences which sounds similar enough for me to not be embarrassed posting this here.

I'd like to create a room with tractile transducers under the floor, that vibrate some material to transmit vibrations through someone's feet, Usually (though not necessarily) coinciding with audio or visual stimuli. I want to make thunder that feels like real thunder without cranking the volume up so loud that it shakes everything through decibels alone, and I want to make this thunder generative and procedurally created, so no two thunder events sound, feel, or look the same. I have background with music and sound design, and am beginning to get into multi-media art, so hopefully I have a shot at designing something like this

Is this a valid use for tactile transducers, or will this inevitably fail? What would the limitations be, and what's the lower end budget for building something like this?

Thanks and hope everybody has a wonderful day and life!
