Hi, my native language is a slavic language and I'm learning spanish.

I have a problem saying θ, or rather I can say it but its hard for me and I forget to say it quite often. I would naturally say s instead but I'm trying to learn the Spanish from Spain, so I think its better to try to say θ.

The problem is that it slows me down and its hard for me to pronounce.

Do you think that I can say s instead or should I try to say θ when its a real problem for me? It might also sound off because I mix the s and θ.

I dont know what to do. Thank you in advance.
