Advice on Transferring Computer Engineer Courses Credits from Humber Polytechnic Canada to US Bachelor’s Programs

Hi,I’m reaching out to those in computer engineering, professionals and current students.

I’m currently a senior in highschool about to graduate.

I’m planning to complete a 3 year advanced diploma in Computer Engineering Technology at Humber Polytechnic Institute in Canada.

After finishing this advanced diploma, I plan to move to the US by 2030, due to personal and immigration reasons

But now I’m thinking should I and how to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree after I move to the US?

I’m a bit worried have any of you seen cases where credits from Humber Polytechnic specifically or any polytechnic Institute in Canada transfer smoothly to US universities for a bachelor’s or even a master’s?

Or not transfer? I have no idea…

And if not, what do you all think about the value of a bachelor’s degree in this field right now especially with this field right now?

Appreciate it🙏🏻

I’m planning to study computer engineering but I have no idea what laptop I should get. I want something that can handle programming, simulations and general school work without slowing down but I also don’t want to waste money on stuff I don’t need.

Any specific laptop recommendations or brands that are good for students in this field? What specs should I be looking for (CPU, RAM, GPU, etc.)?

Appreciate any advice 🙏
