In the search of tone the other guitar player got a Blackstar studio 20 We decided my Marshall stack was too much for bars in 2026. So on a whim I said “hey man let me try the Blackstar” I just plugged my board into the clean channel and holy crap out jumped vintage Marshall crunch and natural compression and sensitivity. I absolutely love it. I have missed my Laney AOR 50 for 30 years and never thought I’d like something as much. This amp is my soulmate. It feels alive and like can predict what I’m gonna do. Crazy crazy. I use a Friedman BE OD for crunch and a Malmsteen OD into it for seating leads. Just put a Vintage 30 in from Sweetwater (they’re shipping UK made) which made it even better
